Open-source Notices

KeepKey Wallet is based in part on the Unstoppable Wallet Android codebase maintained by Horizontal Systems. The KeepKey Android work began from upstream commit 2057b17ee159e8eb9ad0e46632efcb687a3d38f6.

Upstream describes the project as licensed under the MIT License. Its repository and licence text remain the authoritative source for the rights and obligations attached to that code.

The App also incorporates projects and libraries including:

• Android Open Source Project, AndroidX, Jetpack Compose and Android Credential Manager;
• Kotlin and Kotlin coroutines;
• Horizontal Systems blockchain kits used by the upstream wallet;
• Reown WalletKit for Kotlin for WalletConnect functionality; and
• cryptographic, networking, database and interface libraries listed in the shipped dependency notices.

Each component remains subject to its own licence. A reference to a project does not imply that its authors endorse KeepKey Wallet.

The upstream project publishes its licence in the repository’s LICENSE file. That upstream file currently contains placeholder copyright fields; this page does not replace or invent the missing attribution.

The signed release must include the complete notices produced from its final dependency graph. Those shipped notices, each dependency’s own licence file and the corresponding source repository control if this summary is incomplete or conflicts with them.

The public upstream repository does not yet include the KeepKey branding and release changes used by this production candidate. A KeepKey-controlled public repository and release tag must be published before describing the complete shipping build as publicly auditable.
